PHYCOSACCHARIDE AI

Phycosaccharide AI comes from the first generation of biotechnology actives. It acts on inflammatory mediators and recruits epidermal stem cells to soothe sensitive skin and activate skin repair mechanisms.

Characteristics
  • Soothing
  • Repairer
  • Marine Origin
  • Water Soluble

What it is

A bio-mimicry active inspired by the symbiotic life of a marine micro-organism and a macro-algae, the sole aim of which is to share their defence, survival and repair systems. Our researchers identified and isolated the molecules involved in this exchange to derive an active with repairing and soothing properties.

Benefits

  • Reduces inflammatory mediators
  • Strengthens skin defence systems
  • Improves epidermal repair mechanisms
  • After 28 days the skin is significantly less reactive
